VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) Committee

I have two daughters, Emma and Grace and a husband, Alex. I am a CA credentialed teacher with 10 years experience prior to having my first daughter. My own artistic passion manifests itself in my gardening, quilting, and digital photography. I've kept myself busy for the past 6 years learning the art of photo manipulation and printing mostly making Christmas cards and birth announcements. I am thrilled to be involved in the continued development of the arts program at Village.

Mission:

The Village Elementary Art Committee is a grass-roots, spunky, and imaginative committee devoted to developing artistic potential for our elementary school children.

We create innovative solutions for raising funds for our K-5 students with regard to their education in all things artistic.

We motivate and encourage others to help us in achieving the creative side of our youth.

We view ourselves as partners with our children, parents, teachers, school staff, our community and our environment. We aim to be an integral team member of the efforts of PATT in the overall goal of providing the best enrichment programs for our school children.

Vision:

This is just the beginning! We are a group in its infancy, and look forward to the growth and evolution of a fantastic committee with input, influence, and collaboration of parents, teachers, children, school staff, and our community.
