Welcome to the Village P.A.T.T.

PATT stands for "Parents and Teachers Together" and that's what we really are: Together! We are not your typical PTA. We have a fabulous group of parents and teachers working together to provide the best educational experience possible for our children at Village Elementary and Village Kindergarten.

Our primary function has always been to secure and fund programs that enhance learning opportunites for our children. We are able to augment the funding to programs already in place, and provide fuding for projects that would otherwise have gone unfunded due to recent budget cuts. These programs include Physical Education, Science Lab and Visual and Performing Arts.

In essence, we provide a private school experience in a public school setting.

In addition to fundraising, we also:

• Organize grade-appropriate field trips throughout the year
• Contribute to capital improvements to the school grounds and classrooms (i.e. new playground equipment and computers)
• Work with the children to beautify our school's gardens
• Involve the students in philanthropic/volunteer causes to help create awareness of and sensitivity to others.
